The True Meaning of Empower.
I chose the name "Empower" because I was building my independence after leaving a relationship while taking care of three children. For me, starting a business wasn't just about a career change; it was about taking charge of my life and ensuring our survival. I needed a way out, so I built one.
It started with Empower VA Services - light admin work that fit around my kids' schedules. But soon, I realised how much of that work was mind-numbingly repetitive. So, I learned to code.
That led to Empower Automation. I mastered Notion, Monday, ClickUp, and Asana, but eventually realised that wrestling with other people's software was stressful. The solution? I started building my own.
That is how Empower Digital Solutions was born. I turned a lifeline into a career that I absolutely love and now my mission is to help other women do exactly the same.

A Letter to the Female Founders Hub
When I started my journey in digital architecture here in Scotland, I noticed a recurring, frustrating pattern.
